They had to go and make it better a few months after you buy it! Not only that, they go and lower the price- That sucks! Don't get me wrong, I would have to say I have loved my ipod this week more than ever before. It is bizarre that a product could bring such pleasure but I swear it has played just the right songs at the right times on shuffle this rotation. I am sure it's all in what you program in it, not the ipod itself right? Music has been so instrumental in this writing odessey I have been on. I alter between my ipod and XM's channel Fred for inspiration. Dan has spoiled the heck out of me with all these techie music toys.
Dan is playing The Katies self titled CD right now, this CD could be on par with "Beautiful Midnight" for the biggest records of the past 6 years for me. Big statement, eh? I have never felt so bad that a band didn't get it's shot as much as I do for The Katies. Not since Eye Eye have I been left with so little music for a band that has made such an impact on me. I always thought it was not quite right to think of Eye Eye as one of my Top 5 favorite bands with only two releases. Now the same goes for The Katies...some amazing talent just never get a full shot, but thank god for two releases from them both! Who can you think of that are among your favorite bands who only have one or two releases?
Watched RockStar tonight, Timmy got some screen time. It was amusing enough tonite. No Dave Navarro made it even better.
I waited most the day on CFOX to hear the new Matt single, no go. I emailed the midday jock Neil Morrison. He is pretty funny. He said he didn't know anything about it. He played me Sloan though on his 90's lunch. Yep got my name on Canadina radio again today, wasn't really trying. Tony was witness, said I was proliferating Canadian radio one city at a time. It is my only way to make up for never achieving my dream of moving there and programming CanCon!
