Where have all the good people gone?

Technology can be a determinant to getting things done. I have spent the last half hour trying to get the AOL feed of Live8 to work and watch Sam Roberts. Should I been doing work instead of pressing ten buttons at once and yelling at my laptop? Surely work should be in there somewhere between the struggle to get blogrolls or AOL video to work! Guilty feeling? Not really...hahaha!
Karen and Cheryl drove me to work because I had to take the Monte to the dealer to get the window fixed-one month after the warrenty is over-of course! That was super kind of them! They totally blasted me when they found out that I had never been to Niagra Falls. It was pretty funny, they were both shouting at me and appalled that a Canada fan like me had yet to experience the ultimate tourist trap. I would certainly love to experience the Maiden of the Mist! The down side of growing up with a drag racing family is that we didn't go on normal summer vacations. The places I went every summer were based around where the race tracks were. Fortunately one was in London, ONT-hence my orgins of loving Canada even as a youth. I always wanted my family to go to Hershey, PA too, never had a race near there....

Gotta go over to the Blaze and to a computer class today. I will try to write something of substance later. I have been reading some books on how to craft fiction. It has some writing exercises that I may try on my handy blog here.
